Take the car or passenger ferry to Raymond Island, a site of aboriginal heritage, and discover the many species of birds, wild flowers and koala spotting

Take a boat to Rottamah Island Bird Observatory or spot some 140 species of native birds in the Lake National park

Explore the Silt Jetties on the Mitchell River. Good views from Eagle Point Bluff and a vehicle track which provides a closer view and leads to some fine fishing spots.
